An aerial view of Canadian cities reveals that over 80% of our country live in urban centres. It is also revealing to see that where our population density is highest, our presence of churches is lowest. On Nov 17-19, 2017 we held our first urban conference at Stone Church in Toronto. We had 90 people together for inspiration and learning. Plenary Sessions: Steve Pike is the President and Founder of Urban Islands Project, a national collaborative organization dedicated to increasing the presence of the Church in the urban core of America’s 40 largest urban centers. He and the Urban Islands Project team are leading cohorts of church planters working together in Denver, Minneapolis/St. Paul, New York City and Nashville. www.urbanislandsproject.org
